Plan, organize, lead and control the project at Backend Development to successfully achieve all project targets in term of timeliness, quality and cost.

In your new role you will:

- Plans, organizes, and controls the project/ sub-projects with minor complexity (up to project classification class D), risk, impact and reach.
- Manages a medium sized project team with members from multi functional groups.
- Manages and controls the entire project life-cycle and ensures hand-over to sustaining function.
- Organizes the activities and resources needed for the project to ensure timely release of each milestone.
- Fully responsible for all operational decisions in the project and for the successful achievement of all project targets (time, quality, cost and budget)
- Be the key communication interface (for project related matters), representing Back End to other Infineon Divisions (e.g. Business lines, Central Functions e.g. Finance, PTI, FE Fabs, etc.).
- Forms and leads the project team and assigns responsibilities within project to Project Managers of sub-projects and Project Members.
- Drives problem solving activities within the project using standard Infineon trouble shooting methodologies, e.g. 8D, 5 Whys, etc.
- Continuously focuses on project quality, assesses progress and ensures that goals are met even in the face of challenges.
- Identify and manage changes and adapts project approach if necessary.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, etc.).
- Project Management Professional Certification, preferred.
- At least 6 years of relevant working experience. Thereof 2 years of leading projects.
- Solid project management knowledge in terms of project initiation, planning and closing including reporting and documentation
- Good knowledge in semiconductor engineering and operation.
- Good communication skills.
- Good aptitude for collaboration, people management, negotiation and solution finding.
- Capability to lead team to solve standard problem (using 8D, Is-Is Not, FMEA, etc).
