To be accountable for the effective planning, delivery, and provision of academic and personal development of all students placed under your charge.

1. Pedagogy/Curriculum Development
a) To prepare course plans, schemes of work, tutorials, assignments, class discussions, etc. which are necessary for effective learning by students
b) To prepare teaching materials such as notes, slides, etc. for student learning
c) To teach, tutor or instruct in accordance to the approved course plans and scheme of work
d) To develop, review, and update all course plans, schemes of work, syllabi from time to time to reflect current practice
e) To prepare test/examination questions together with appropriate marking schemes in a timely fashion as and when required
f) To grade all assignments, tests, tutorials, projects, examinations, etc. in order to evaluate students’ academic performance
g) To review past examination papers with students whenever necessary

2. Class Management
a) To monitor students’ attendance and report on absenteeism
b) To prepare testimonials and reference letters for students, if required

3. Pastoral Care
a) To provide pastoral care to students to ensure total development of students by participating in all activities designed for that purpose
b) To provide counseling and advice to students
