**Job Purpose**:
To provide attentive, safe, and nurturing care for infants aged 3 months to 18 months, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met in accordance with Wonder Minds Preschool’s standards and regulatory requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:1. Infant Care & Daily Routine**
- Provide attentive and loving care for infants, including feeding, bathing, diapering, and ensuring overall hygiene.
- Monitor infants’ sleeping schedules and maintain a calm, safe, and hygienic environment.
- Prepare and sterilize feeding bottles, equipment, and utensils as per hygiene and health standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the nursery area at all times.
**2. Health & Safety**
- Monitor and record infants’ health conditions, such as temperature, feeding amounts, and bowel movements daily.
- Administer first aid when necessary and report any illness, injury, or abnormal signs immediately to the Principal.
- Ensure all health and safety guidelines, including proper sanitization and safe handling of infants, are strictly followed.
- Support infection control measures and assist in maintaining compliance with licensing and health regulations.
**3. Developmental Support**
- Observe and document each infant’s growth and developmental milestones.
- Engage infants in age-appropriate sensory and motor skill activities.
- Foster a nurturing and responsive environment that supports infants’ emotional and social development.
**4. Communication & Documentation**
- Maintain accurate daily reports for each child (feeding, sleep, diaper changes, and general behavior).
- Communicate regularly with parents on their child’s progress, health updates, and milestones in a professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of all child and family information at all times.
**5. Teamwork & Professionalism**
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure smooth operations of the infant care unit.
- Attend staff meetings, training, and professional development sessions as required.
- Uphold Wonder Minds Preschool’s philosophy, values, and standards of care at all times.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum Diploma in Nursing or Early Childhood Care & Education (Infant/Toddler).
- Valid nursing qualification and registration with the Malaysian Nursing Board is an advantage.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in infant or childcare settings preferred.
- Passionate, patient, and caring with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
