Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Transport & Logistics)
- Source new suppliers and compare existing supplier listing to seek the best prices, lead time, and service provision.
- Check stocks and material requirements with the respective department and place Purchasing Orders with suppliers according to required quantity.
- Liaise and work closely with suppliers and other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
- To review, control, and monitor stock inventory at an acceptable stock level, to avoid zero stock and excess stock situations.
- To ensure supplier delivery and quality performance.
- To ensure shipment arrival and arrangement of goods declaration.
- To ensure goods ordered are exempted from Sales Tax & Import Duties e.g. Sales Tax Exemption and MlDA Exemption.
- To liaise with External (overseas) suppliers on Spare Parts, Chemicals, all equipment on order, and site job.
- Timely submit the matching PO, invoice, DO to Accounts for a smoother process of payment.
- To continuously update and maintain the Approved Suppliers List.

**Requirements**:

- 2 years and above working experience in the Purchasing related field
- Good calculation skills are needed to ensure purchasing accuracy at all times.
- Possess strong leadership, organizing, and analytical ability.
- Computer literate and must be able to work independently.
- Possess good planning, implementing, and coordinating skills.
