**SOTC Play & Development Sdn. Bhd. (Playvelope)** is a dynamic special needs intervention and educational centre committed to empowering children with diverse developmental needs through personalized, evidence-based approaches. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate **Special Education Teacher Assistant** to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering early intervention and individualized learning support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) under the guidance of the teachers.
- Facilitate small group teaching sessions for students with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and other learning differences.
- Monitor student engagement and report progress or concerns to the teachers and therapists.
- Collaborate closely with therapists (OT, ST, Clinical Psychologist) and caregivers to ensure a consistent support system.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
- Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and IEP documentation.
- Support life skills, behavior management, and social-emotional development.

**Requirements/ Qualification**:

- **Education**: Minimum SPM / Diploma in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or related field.
- **Experience**: Preferably 1-3 years of experience teaching children with special needs. Fresh graduates with passion and training in special education are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of child development and special education strategies.
- Compassionate, patient, and able to engage with children across a range of abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
