Storekeeper

**Job Summary**

Supervise the daily warehouse activities. Manage the receiving, handling, distribution, and storage of all inventories of dry stocks moving in and out of the warehouse. Investigate stock variances and report on stock issues.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain inventory accuracy of pickers at all times. Any variances need to be checked and reconciled as quickly as possible.
- Maintain the warehouse in a safe, clean and well-organized state. Racking and product storage should be clearly labelled, and the FIFO principle applied in arrangement and disbursement.
- Adhere to all safety, security and food handling procedures at all times.
- All movements of goods must be recorded and disbursed accurately with appropriate documents like DOs, POs, etc.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure buffer stock levels are maintained. Highlight over-stocking, under stocking, slow moving and near expiry date stocks to the relevant parties so that action can be taken quickly.
- Ensure stocks are prepared a day earlier for delivery the next day so that delivery schedules are met. Ensure drivers collect the stocks as scheduled.
- Assist Executive to provide data on supplier DO and logbook to Executive Warehouse and Fleet Management.
- Assist Executive to produce timely reports for analysis and decision making.
- Resolve warehouse issues quickly and if unable to, to escalate to superior for intervention or solutions.
- Support warehouse team in the receiving, issuing, packing of goods and printing of delivery orders.
- To assist drivers for new store openings set up in ensuring all stock, equipment and smallware as per DO.
- To lead and monitor the assistance storekeeper in delivering high quality output especially accuracy of picking based on the DO within schedule and dateline.
- Check to ensure all received goods are correct and to the quality expected. Highlight any discrepancies immediately.
- Carry out any others and ad hoc duties as assigned by superior.

- Ability to appraise and use IT systems and software. Basic knowledge in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Able to respond to work issues during weekends or after working hours or any urgent request.
- Able to work in a work environment ranges from office to warehouse to shop floor.
- Have a sense of urgency and close follow up to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Good in managing time and multitasking with mínimal supervision in tight deadlines.
- Have experience in driving and handling forklift and reach trucks. He / she is responsible for upkeep forklift and reach trucks in good working condition at all times.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Diploma in Warehouse Management or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years experience in managing a warehouse or store.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
