**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Position : Management Trainee - Retail Merchandising**

**Department : Merchandising**

**Reporting Line : Merchandising Manager**

**Overview**

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Management Trainee in Retail Merchandising. This role provides comprehensive training and practical exposure to retail merchandising, preparing you for a dynamic career in managing product categories and driving business growth.
- **Merchandising Training**:

- Undergo a structured training program focused on retail merchandising processes, including product selection, vendor management, and sales analysis.
- Gain knowledge of inventory control, retail pricing strategies, and product promotions.
- **Category Management**:

- Assist in managing food or plantation-related product categories, ensuring the right product mix and availability.
- Collaborate with suppliers to optimize pricing, promotions, and product quality.
- **Market Research and Analysis**:

- Analyze consumer trends and competitor activities to support category strategy.
- Conduct basic market research to gather information on new products, pricing trends, and competitor activity.
- Provide feedback to the manager on customer preferences or popular trends observed in-store.
- **Inventory and Stock Management**:

- Work with the supply chain team to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Address stock-related challenges, including replenishment and

turnover.
- **In-store Execution**:

- Ensure proper product placement, merchandising standards, and promotional displays in retail outlets.
- Collaborate with store teams to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
- **Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Partner with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align merchandising strategies with business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- **Performance Reporting**:

- Prepare regular reports on category performance, sales trends, and inventory metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve product performance and profitability.
- **Other Duties**:

- Support promotional activities by coordinating the availability of featured products.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

FRESH GRADUATE, DEGREE HOLDER and DIPLOMA HOLDER for course Agriculture, Food Science, Plantation are encourage to apply.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,100.00 per month
