**Job Summary**
- Responsible for overseeing and managing the security operations across the organization.
- Oversee security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, access control system, and the security control room.
- Responsible for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and management of all security systems to protect our assets and ensure the safety of our personnel and property.
- Involve in strategic planning, implementation of security protocols, and ensuring the safety and security of all personnel, assets and facilities.
- Lead the security team, coordinate with external security agencies, and develop policies to mitigate risks and respond to security incidents effectively.
**Responsibilities**
1. Security Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive security strategies and protocols.
- Oversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring all activities comply with legal and organizational standards.
- Coordinate with security personnel to ensure effective control of entry and exit points.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems, alarm systems, and access control systems.
- Ensure all security systems are fully operational and regularly maintained.
- Manage the security control room, ensuring it is staffed and equipped to monitor all security systems effectively.
2. Monitoring and Response:
- Monitor security systems for any unusual activity or security breaches.
- Coordinate and respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of security systems and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
3. Access Control:
- Manage and maintain access control systems, including the issuance of access cards and credentials.
- Develop and enforce access control policies and procedures.
- Monitor and review access logs and reports for any suspicious activity.
4. Training and Development:
- Train security staff on the proper use and operation of security systems.
- Conduct regular training sessions on security protocols, emergency response, and system updates.
- Stay current with the latest security technologies and best practices.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with IT, facilities, and other departments to integrate security systems and ensure comprehensive security coverage.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers for system upgrades, repairs, and maintenance.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the status and performance of security systems.
6. Incident Management:
- Oversee the investigation of security incidents, breaches, and theft.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all security-related activities.
**Requirements**:
- High School Diploma or Professional Certificate related to Security Management Studies.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role overseeing security systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, access control systems, and security control room operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively. Certificate in security management (eg: CPP, PSP) and knowledge in industry standards (eg: TAPA) is a plus.
