**About the Company**

Our client is a prominent and rapidly expanding organization in the Manufacturing/ Heavy Machineries sector, known for its strong operational excellence and innovation. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for an experienced and strategic **Financial Controller** to lead the finance function and support the senior leadership team from their plant in Sendayan.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the entire finance and accounting operations including financial reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with MFRS/IFRS standards.
- Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support business performance and decision-making.
- Monitor and manage working capital, cash flow, and cost efficiency.
- Drive financial and operational controls to ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance policies.
- Provide insights and strategic recommendations to the senior management team on business growth, investment decisions, and risk management.
- Manage internal and external audits, and act as the key liaison with auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant government bodies.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, promoting continuous improvement and strong financial discipline.
- Support ERP implementation or finance system upgrades, driving process automation and digital finance transformation.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Recognized professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) are required.
- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or financial controller role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and compliance.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Hands-on, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
