Mro Buyer

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, source and purchase materials, supplies, equipment, parts and services according to the requirements.
- Obtain quotations and bids, compare, analyse, and makes recommendations.
- Follow up on all purchase requisitions to ensure items have been ordered and delivered on time.
- Responsible for retention and reconciliation of reports, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Prepare tender documents, arrange for bidding, price negotiations and supplier selection for medium to large volumes of purchases which has a significant impact on the profitability of the company.
- Manage and evaluate suppliers and ensure an optimum supply chain which includes minimizing purchasing risks.
- Report monthly/quarterly results to control measurable activities against the planned figures.
- Analyze and control contractual agreements to prepare renegotiations/subsequent negotiations; as well as initiate appropriate measures and guarantee supplies.
- Conduct local and international market research to bring new suppliers, product derivatives and product innovations into the purchasing portfolio.
- Ensure all requests and PR are attended to promptly, PO is issued to suppliers without unnecessary delay and follow-up with suppliers on deliveries as per committed date.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in any related field.
- Minimum 5 years related experience in related field.
- Able to multi-task and results oriented with attention to detail.
- Possess organizational, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge on MRO procurement practices and terms, negotiation concepts, costing and basic business law.
- Familiar with local and overseas sourcing for both materials, equipment and services.
- Advance level in MS Office and possess analytical skill.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is required.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
