Panel Claim Officer

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Panel Claim Management**
- Prepare, verify, and submit **panel claims** to corporate, insurance, and third-party administrators (TPAs) accurately and within stipulated timelines.
- Monitor **claim rejections, pending approvals, and unpaid claims**, ensuring prompt resubmission or clarification to panels.
- Maintain organized documentation of all submitted, approved, and rejected claims.
- Liaise with **panel companies, TPAs, and insurance representatives** to resolve discrepancies, delays, or disputes.
- Ensure compliance with each panel’s claim format, tariff code, and policy requirements.
- Update and maintain the **panel claim tracker / AR aging report** for management review.
- Work closely with clinic operations to ensure proper recording of panel visits and claimable services.
- Coordinate with the Resident Doctor and Clinic Manager for medical report requests or justifications required for claim approvals.
**2. Accounts Receivable (AR) Management**
- Record and reconcile **daily sales and panel receipts** in the accounting system.
- Track **outstanding receivables** and ensure timely follow-up with panel companies and clients.
- Prepare **monthly AR statements**, aging analysis, and summary reports for management.
- Verify all invoices and receipts are accurately issued and filed systematically.
- Assist in **bank reconciliation** related to incoming payments and deposits.
- Monitor credit terms granted to panels and alert management on overdue accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and clinic financial policies.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma / Degree in **Accounting, Finance, Health Administration**, or related field.
- Minimum **1-2 years of working experience** in accounting, billing, or panel claim management (preferably in healthcare or clinic setting).
- Familiarity with **panel claim systems (e.g., HealthMetrics, PMCare, Mednefits, or similar platforms)** is an added advantage.
- Proficient in **Microsoft Excel / accounting software (e.g., SQL)**:
- Good analytical, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Team player with a positive working attitude and professional integrity.
