h3>Position Title - Executive, Aircraft Spare Parts Purchasing **Reports To**: - Assistant Manager, Fleet Technical **Role Purpose**: - This position is responsible in sourcing of aircraft spare parts, raising purchase order and monitoring of delivery status of parts to ensure stock availability in order to support aircraft maintenance and related engineering production activities. **Key Accountability**: - Efficiently manage the procurement of spares and materials essential for aircraft maintenance and related engineering production activities. - Coordinate and execute the sourcing and procurement of aircraft spare parts and materials with effectiveness and efficiency. - Facilitate the processing of aircraft components for repair, overhaul, or exchange at approved repair facilities. - Review and handle requests for quotations, purchase orders, repair orders, sales orders, loan orders, and return items for Manager approval. - Ensure strict adherence to budgetary constraints and provide monthly reports on any variances. - Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for cost reduction through thorough analysis of purchasing practices and negotiation with vendors, presenting findings during monthly meetings with the Manager. - Actively resolve problems and address issues encountered by production and other departments related to the services provided by the Manager. - Continuously monitor and evaluate the quality of work, turnaround times, pricing, and support provided by selected repairers. - Perform any additional tasks as assigned by superiors. **Qualification & Experience**: - Degree or Diploma in any field of Engineering preferably Supply Chain, Aviation Management, Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent **Years of Experience**: - Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience in related field (Degree) or a minimum of 3 years of experience in related field (Diploma) **Areas of Experience**: - Inventory management, Procurement/Purchasing function, Engineering & Maintenance. **Personality Traits**: - Good knowledge and understanding of supply chain management and familiar with procurement/purchasing process. - Strong knowledge and understanding of material management and aircraft maintenance. - Good IT and communication skills, well versed with AMOS and SAP. - Technical and process-oriented background with the ability to understand and interpret technical data.
