Job Description '¢ In charge of preparing baked goods for sale to customers. Duties include creating recipes, ordering ingredients and coordinating baking schedules to produce breads, pastries, and other goods '¢ Monitor and ensure daily operation to deliver the products effectively. '¢ To deliver and maintain good quality of products. '¢ Manage and control supplies and inventory stock levels '¢ To direct and supervise the activities of production staff to ensure products are up to standard '¢ Train new recruits on baking techniques and procedures '¢ Maintain accurate record of baking operations to ensure profitability '¢ Knowledge in operating all baking equipment including: ovens, mixers, proofer, and etc. '¢ Supervise the junior bakers to ensure the products are up to standards '¢ Decorate baked products and other topping for finished appearance '¢ To maintain kitchen safety, hygiene and cleanliness in the outlet. '¢ Assist in line up or display the products in the shelf racks '¢ Create new and exciting products to our menus and engage the interest of customers '¢ To undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management from time to time. Requirements '¢ Possess relevant qualifications of Minimum SPM/Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Bakery/Pastry/F&B Services Management or equivalent '¢ Minimum 2 years of working experience preferably in Pastry/Bakery & similar role in hospitality property environment '¢ Excellent in management skills, planning, organizational and time management skills '¢ Willing to work during weekends and public holidays '¢ Well verse in read, write and speak Bahasa Malays. English and other dialects would be added as advantages '¢ Pleasant personality, independent, hardworking and energetic person with good interpersonal and communication skills '¢ Confident, proactive and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines '¢ Possess own transport 6 Working days/Weeks (including weekends) '“ Off day based on timetable (rotational) '¢ Shift based: 9.00 am-6 pm.
