The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students pursuing a Bachelors' or Masters' degree to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. Our internships will give you first-hand insights into the processes, systems, and practices that are aligned to ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading-edge technology.
Partner with the best
You'll participate in focused training, and team meetings, work on projects, and present your results. During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience. You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset.
You will also have the opportunity to become familiar with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) and culture of Baker Hughes. as well as our strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
As an Intern, you will be responsible for:
Support the execution of payroll and benefits processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
Assist in monitoring service delivery metrics and supplier performance for assigned processes
Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for standardization and simplification
Help deliver excellent customer service by responding to employee and HR partner queries
Maintain data accuracy and timeliness in line with legal and Baker Hughes policy requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships through proactive communication
Stay updated on internal and external changes and share insights with the team
Provide ad-hoc operational support for payroll and benefits activities
Assist in internal and external audits and support year-end reporting and related statistics

To be successful in this role you will:
Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Interest in HR Operations, Payroll & Benefits, or Global Mobility Services preferred
Have strong attention to detail and a passion for learning HR operations
Be fluent in English (Arabic is plus point) with strong communication skills
Demonstrate a customer-focused mindset and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Show interest in process improvement and data accuracy
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple tasks will help you succeed. A proactive attitude, integrity, and willingness to learn are essential.
