Occupational Therapist

Job Description:

- Plan, implement, evaluate, treat and progress patients care, incorporating risk assessment, to maximize functional independence and rehabilitation potential.
- Communicate with patients and carers in order to positively develop therapeutic relationships.
- Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise workloads - able to multi-task as well as be self-disciplined and highly motivated.
- Knowledge of how to use specialist equipment - required for day to day use with specific patients e.g. communication aids, special seating, standing frames etc.
- Collate and maintain Occupational Therapy inventory record.

Job Requirement:

- Minimum of Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Working experience in a hospital or Rehab Centre set-up in the Return-to-Work Programme will be preferred.
- Experience in working with patients who have a range of conditions, including Neurological, Musculoskeletal, Cardiovascular and Orthopaedic.
- Computer literate.
- Pleasant and mature personality with excellent human relations, networking and organisational skills.

**Salary**: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
