Business Development Team Leader

_**Main Responsibilities**:_
- **Lead and Manage the Team**: Oversee and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure team members meet their performance goals and contribute to overall company growth.
- **Develop and Execute Strategies**: Create and implement business development strategies to identify new opportunities, expand the company’s market presence, and drive revenue growth in target industries.
**Build and Maintain Client Relationships**: Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and prospects, understanding their needs and positioning the company’s products/services to align with those needs for long-term partnerships.
- **Identify and Pursue New Markets**: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activity, and untapped market segments, then leverage this information to develop new business opportunities.
- **Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams**: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on business objectives, promotional strategies, and service offerings.
- **Track and Report on KPIs**: Monitor and evaluate team performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular reports on progress, challenges, and areas for improvement to senior management.
- **Negotiate and Close Deals**: Lead high-level negotiations with potential clients, securing new business agreements and closing deals that contribute to achieving company revenue targets.
- **Required Skills and Qualifications**:_
- Possess at least a diploma in any field.
- Strong communication skills with good command in English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Fluency in **Mandarin**is required for this role, as it involves direct interaction with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- At least **5 to 6 years** of related work experience in Sales or Business Development (experience in leading a team is an advantage).
- Experience or knowledge in **HRMS software** is preferred.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and network effectively.
- Capable of working independently with mínimal supervision.
- Possess own transport to travel around regional hub (KL) for continuous expansion.
