Clinic Assistant

**Patient Reception**: Greeting patients as they arrive at the clinic, checking them in for appointments, and verifying their personal and insurance information.
- **Appointment Scheduling**: Managing the clinic's appointment calendar, scheduling new appointments, and rescheduling as needed.
- **Handling Phone Calls**: Answering phone calls, responding to inquiries from patients, scheduling appointments over the phone, and taking messages for healthcare providers.
- **Administrative Duties**: Assisting with various administrative tasks such as filing medical records, updating patient information in the electronic health records (EHR) system, and handling billing and insurance claims.
- **Assisting Healthcare Providers**: Preparing examination rooms for patient visits, escorting patients to exam rooms, taking vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature), and assisting healthcare providers during examinations or procedures.
- **Patient Education**: Providing basic information to patients about their conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care instructions as directed by healthcare providers.
- **Inventory Management**: Ordering and stocking medical and office supplies, ensuring that the clinic has an adequate supply of necessary items.
- **Cleaning and Maintenance**: Keeping the clinic clean and organized, including disinfecting exam rooms and equipment, and ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
- **Patient Follow-Up**: Following up with patients to remind them of upcoming appointments, test results, or referrals as necessary.
- **Collaboration**: Working closely with other clinic staff members, including physicians, nurses, and administrative personnel, to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care.
- **Emergency Response**: Assisting with emergency situations as needed, including providing basic first aid and alerting healthcare providers or emergency services when necessary.
Pay: From RM1,500.00 per month
