**Position title: Assistant Manager, Group Finance & Accounts**

This is a group of companies listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia. Their business activities are diversified. Currently they are actively seeking a qualified Accountant to assume the role of Assistant Manager, Group Finance & Accounts based at their corporate head office at Shah Alam.
**About the job**
This is full time permanent position reporting to Senior Finance Manager of the group.
As Assistant Manager, Group Finance/Accounts, you will be overall responsible to perform full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting in compliance with Malaysian Finance Reporting standards.
The role & duties:
- Preparation and review of group financial reporting, including management accounts and reports, annual statutory, financial statements, budget, income tax/deferred tax computation.
- Manage and prepare cash flow analysis,treasury matters, e.g. group funding, funding requirements.
- Manage and deal with bankers on funding terms for the entities within the Group.
- To vet legal agreement and company secretarial ducuments such as M&A, banking facility,SPA, tenancy agreement and othe business agreement.
- To assist in the preparation of group related work such as consolidation of accounts, managementreports, financial analysis, budget, interim/annual financial statements, presentation of materials for AGM, audit committee.
- In charge of annual audit exercise for the Group and responsible for the preparation of audited financial statements.
- Malaysian male or female with Bachelor degree or ACCA/CIMA qualification.
- Preferably Member of MIA.
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant work experience in managing group finance.
- Prior initial work experience at senior level with Big-four audit firm would be highly regarded.
- Technically competent and up to date with relevant technical accounting pronoucements and standards, especially Financial Reporting standards.
- Familiarity with the requirements of public-listed companies will be an asset.
- Knowledge of consolidation skills will be useful and necessary.
- Advance-level speadsheets skills.
