About Finecast
Finecast, an addressable TV company, enables advertisers to precision-target audiences in on demand, linear and live streaming TV environments. It's the first addressable TV company in Malaysia delivering targeted advertising via a single point of access to audiences across multiple TV channel brands, pay-TV platforms and set top boxes, a range of video on demand (VOD)/catch up TV services, over-the-top providers, and game consoles - all combined for scale. Finecast builds targeting segments from socio-economic, life stage, purchase and financial data to identify and reach precise audience profiles on the big screen.

GroupM is the leading global media investment management operation. It serves as the parent company to WPP media agencies MediaCom, Wavemaker, MindShare and MSix.
The Role
The Addressable TV media marketplace is a new, complex and fast moving space. To ensure that the Finecast is well placed to take advantage of the opportunities, we must ensure that right systems and processes are in place.
The Data & Analytics Manager will be expected to work with stakeholder s in the business, as well as external suppliers and technology providers, to build out a cohesive strategy and roadmap for the platform.
This role is required to support the product and platform developments that will enable Finecast to build a best in class set of features and functionality, which supports the requirements and expectations of the advertisers and clients, whilst delivering against the aggressive growth targets. The decisions made around the platform must reflect the short terms needs to grow, as well as the longer terms aspirations of achieving a solid base on which to build.
**Responsibilities**:
Reporting & Analytics
- Build out and maintain the revenue and pipeline reporting capabilities
- Ensure the production of accurate, usable, and timely campaign reporting
- Support the capabilities for attribution modelling, measurement and research
- Build out and maintain inventory and margin reporting
- Use data and insights to drive yield optimisation and maximise revenue and margin
- Liaise with other data & analytics functions within GroupM on data availability
- Lead the roll-out of data visualisation and business intelligence tools across the business
- Develop and maintain dashboards for business insights and management
- Liaise with account management to understand the requirements of their clients and support them in meetings

- Build data models to respond to business requirements
Campaign Operations
- Monitor and assess the available targeting options for accuracy and validity
- Support the sourcing of new data sets to fulfil the requirements of the clients
- Support the defining and targeting of data driven campaigns, deals and segments for the clients
- O p timise the campaign management workflow to drive operational efficiencies
- Manage and enhance the pricing strategy to ensure a valid, consistent, and justifiable price
- Support in the on-boarding of new technology providers and the data requirements
General
- Maintain expertise in video based advertising technologies and other relevant industry trends
- Liaison with external technical suppliers to identify and explore new opportunities
- Build out valid business cases to justify investment
Experience
- Good technical understanding of advertising technology, including, but not limited to video ad serving, DSPs, data management platforms (DMP), devi ce IDs and cookies, attribution modelling
- Understanding of the regulatory landscape around the use of data
- K nowledge of database management and administration
- Technical understanding of how data is stored and transferred
- Knowledge of media trading, preferably video and TV
- Experience working in brand or performance based evaluation services
- Understanding of marketing strategies
- Relevant degree
**Skills**:
- Extremely numerate, with exceptional excel capabilities
- Proficient in VBA and SQL
- Use of data manipulation and visualisation tool
- Use of statistical analysis programmes
- Detail orientated
- Comfortable with client facing interactions
- Good internal networking skills
- Computer literate
