**Role of Executive, Social Media Content Management (aka Social Content Creator/Writer)**
**Overview of job**
GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a social media content management executive to join us. In this role, you will be the first line of the social media team to provide consultation to clients in creating not just relevant content, but the right tone and language approach that will captivate different communities and individuals.
**Reporting of the role**
This role reports to the Manager, Social Media Management.

**Measures of success -**
**In three months**:
- Have demonstrated understanding of the business challenges and be able to work and create content with little or no supervision.
**In six months**:
- Have formed trust between your team and your clients in terms of consultancy and content creation.
**In 12 months**:
- Be the go-to person for your client when it comes to concocting the right content strategies.
**Responsibilities of the role**:
- Copywriting, research and content creation to advertise on brand/products through various social digital platforms (FB/IG/Youtube/etc.).
- Monitor and manage the relationship between brand and consumer on social media pages.
- Develop, manage and maintain good cordial business relationships with clients and potential clients, which include internal and external clients across GroupM Malaysia.
- Work closely with the Creative/Servicing and Social Listening teams, attending briefings and strategy sessions, and work with them to build creative content and campaigns designed to create passion and grow the community on and off the digital platforms.
- Put your creativity into action towards creating thumb-stopping content, getting to know the communities on each platform and being the face of your brand, your community and your agency.
- Understanding of the all forms of trends, platforms and tools on-site and on social media.
- Analyse, research, strategize, ideate and execute industry related topics.
**What you will need**:
- A natural passion in people as your daily work will be surrounded by internal and external stakeholders such as your support team in content creation, social listening, internal agencies, external media owners, clients, etc.
- Ability to ideate fun/creative content and campaigns from beginning to end.
- Experience in writing, content creation or publishing will be to your added advantage.
- A deep knowledge of primary social platforms (ie. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, etc.) and new and emerging technologies and their benefits to brand and businesses
- Good writing skills - versatility is key to suit different brand personalities.
- Possess a natural curiosity and penchant for exploring the ins and outs of social media platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized and excellent attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic, driven, self-motivated, independent, dependable and passionate individual.
- Willing to work beyond normal working hours to respond to queries and comments on social media pages and/or attending to client’s request or crisis.
