**About our group**:
**The Johor Bahru Substrate (JBS) Wash Operation** employs advanced chemical-mechanical technology to remove polishing residues and prepare aluminum substrate memory disks for the next stage in Seagate's hard drive manufacturing. Our dynamic engineering team provides expert technical support and in-depth analysis to ensure process stability and seamless operations.

**About the role - you will**:

- Be working in a shift technician role, attend daily morning meetings and provide updates through shift reports
- Conduct process analysis, troubleshooting, and follow-up on quality-related issues
- Perform routine shift rotation tasks and monitor line progress
- Support yield, quality, and IDM (In-Die Monitoring) sustainability efforts
- Maintain both process and equipment baselines to ensure optimal performance
- Carry out area yield loss sustenance and perform sterilization following scheduled maintenance
- Collaborate with the equipment team to drive continuous improvement and tool stability
- Support production activities by ensuring all processes, specifications, procedures, and documentation meet compliance standards
- Implement effective process controls to ensure both product and process conformance

**About you**:

- Demonstrates self-motivation, a positive attitude, and strong teamwork capabilities
- Proactive team player with a strong sense of initiative and effective problem-solving skills
- Comfortable and willing to work in a cleanroom environment
- Willing to follow a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including both day and night shifts
- Able to work overtime as and when required
- Fresh diploma graduates in Engineering disciplines (e.g., Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical) are encouraged to apply—additional qualifications in these areas are advantageous

**Your experience includes**:

- Provide support to engineers in driving process improvements and enhancing quality standards
- Capable of conducting process quality troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Open to fresh diploma graduates in Engineering fields—such as Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in wash processes and cleanroom operations is an advantage
- Diploma holder with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Process Support in manufacturing environment. Certificate holders with at least 3 to 5 years of process support experience are welcomed to apply
