**Summary**

We are on the hunt for high-spirited and vibrant individuals who love freshly brewed coffee, serving customers with a smile and spending time in a lush green environment. If you are driven by a passion to serve the Visually Impaired and Senior Citizen communities. If you are responsible, patient and understanding and have experience working in a cafe or as a barista then you are exactly who we need.

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute all daily operations of St. Nicholas’ Home, Penang Cafe
- Maintain at all times a clean, comfortable and professional environment at the Cafe
- Maintain daily inventories by replenishing the stock daily and to report on any shortages to the reporting superior
- To check and maintain all equipment in proper working order and to report any malfunctions to the reporting superior promptly
- To promote to the customers on daily menu items and promotions
- To practice proper food handling and safety and to ensure quality food and beverages served are consistently at all times
- To conduct daily opening and closing operations for the café
- Ensure food and beverages prepared according to SOP standards set by the reporting superior
- To greet and attend to customers as they arrive and inquire on their order in a polite, welcoming and friendly manner
- To attend to any customer complaints in a polite and service-oriented manner and to escalate any unresolvable concerns to the reporting superior
- Manage payment transactions in an efficient manner
- To submit daily sales report to the reporting superior
- Compliance to all safety regulations of assigned tasks
- The job functions are not limited or restricted to those stated above. To adhere to all other duties/tasks that are assigned from time to time by the General Manager

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum SPM or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in related field
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience as Barista or Service Crew in Food & Beverage Industry will be an added advantage
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English language
- Team Player, Highly Motivated and Pro-active
- Basic knowledge in computer skills
- Willing to be based in Penang
