**IKHLAS, a groundbreaking business line under AirAsia Digital, is seeking a Data Analyst Apprentice. IKHLAS aims to support Muslim communities globally by offering unparalleled access to faith-based practices, including religious obligations such as Umrah and Qurban, as well as Shariah-compliant lifestyle choices.**

**Our key objectives include enhancing revenue and reducing costs through extensive data federation, predictive and prescriptive analytics, cutting-edge machine/deep learning, intelligent scheduling, optimization, and other advanced techniques. The Data Department is also responsible for managing data lakes across all our business units, deriving insights, adding value, and sharing them back with the businesses.**

**Moreover, the Data Department actively engages in innovation and training at The Outclass, as well as collaborating with strategic partners like Google, GE, Airbus, and academic institutions.**

**What You Will Do**

**Here’s what a typical day looks like**:

- ** You will develop machine learning (ML) models and components using Python, AutoML, etc.**
- ** You will gain exposure to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its components, such as SQL, BigQuery, Compute Engine, GKE, etc.**
- ** You will learn Agile Project Management techniques and participate in project execution, using methodologies like SCRUM.**
- ** You will understand the importance of ITIL/ITSM, technical documentation, and version control by using tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, etc.**
- ** You will be introduced to Data Lake best practices, performing data validation against legacy vs BQ scripts.**

**Required Skills and Abilities**

**To excel in this role, you should possess**:

- ** Proficiency in Python, SQL, or the Go language is highly desirable.**
- ** Experience with cloud platforms is a bonus.**
- ** Experience in working with large datasets to solve problems is also advantageous.**
- ** Proficiency in using Google/Office suite for documentation, spreadsheets, and presentations.**
