Manufacturing Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage a group of Manufacturing System Engineers to design, develop, deploy and sustain Manufacturing related business processes, systems and policies.
- Provide leadership to improve the productivity of existing systems, taking into consideration the use of the latest technology. This include waste reduction, cycle times, manufacturing and design capabilities and others as needed.
- Lead change management by working with change teams, devise plan, documentation, system update, monitoring until closure of activities. Track and report the status as needed.
- Independently resolves most manufacturing system/process related issues within set operation parameters.
- Partner with various stakeholders to ensure systems and processes are flawless for manufacturing execution.
**Other Job Responsibilities**
- Frequently interacts with subordinates, internal stakeholders and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units.
- Develops high impact Manufacturing System Engineers: Fostering a high-performance culture and holding Engineers accountable for team development in addition to business results.
- Provides clear expectations and regular feedback specific to performance management to develop employees.
- Adheres and holds others accountable to safety regulations and Lam Core Values.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Minimum of 6 years experiences that are related to Manufacturing system and processes with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Operations management experience required.
- Experience in managing a group of Manufacturing System Engineers.
- Must be capable of working within a controlled clean room environment and adhering to all specified gown and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Knowledge of industrial / manufacturing processes, human factor, organizational behavior.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and Kanban systems.
- Effective problem solving and learning mindset, strong decision maker.
- Strong verbal, written communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage complex processes and projects, work under tight time constraints and effectively work in a cross-matrixed environment
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline preferred.
- 8-10+ years in relevant operational disciplines, with cross-functional Multi-National Company (MNC) environment experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Ability to set and manage accountabilities and expectations at all levels, acts quickly to resolve conflicts.
- Lean / Six Sigma certification preferred with demonstrated competence in structured problem solving
- Strong business acumen and ability to speak with data.
