**SAFETY, HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT (ASSISTANT MANAGER)**

JOB PRINCIPLE

To enforce safety rules and regulations following DOSH requirements and ISO standards and promote awareness on safety and health to the organisation. Liaise with relevant institutes on matters relating to OSHA requirements. Plan, investigate and report on incidents, accidents and near misses and conduct risk assessments.

JOB PURPOSE
- To oversee executive developing, implementing and monitoring Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and Procedures.
- To assist the company in complying with current health and safety legislation and/or regulations with the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of learners, staff and visitors.
- To increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization.
- To investigate and report on all serious/critical personal injury accidents occurring to staff and/or visitors to the appropriate senior official, and to assist in the investigation of all accidents/incidents that result in substantial damage.
- To investigate and report on complaints of hazardous working conditions.
- To respond to employees’ safety concerns;
- To conduct necessary safety inspection.
- To assist the Board’s Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committees.
- To respond to fires and other emergencies.
- To coordinate registration and removal of hazardous waste.
- To act as liaison with all related governmental bodies and regulating agencies relating to Safety & Health
- To coordinate the training of personnel in areas of safety, including first aid, CPR, accident prevention and investigation, workplace inspections and other matters related to implementing safety procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENT
- Well-verse in QMS, EMS, OSHAS, etc.
- Basic knowledge of Office Managements and functions.
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
- Integrity and confidentiality
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure
