Merchant Acquisition Specialist

The Merchant Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in expanding our merchant base by identifying, engaging, and onboarding new merchants. This position requires a proactive and target-oriented individual with strong communication and negotiation skills. You will be responsible for identifying potential business partners, presenting our solutions, and nurturing relationships to drive merchant acquisition.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential merchant targets and opportunities.
- Develop a prospect list and initiate contact with potential merchants.
- Identify key decision-makers within target organizations.
- Schedule and conduct meetings and presentations to introduce our products and services to prospective merchants. I.e., E-vouchers, digital campaigns, member benefits.
- communicate unique benefits and value propositions of our solutions.
- Address merchant inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Achieve and exceed acquisition targets and sales goals.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with acquired merchants.
- Provide ongoing support and address merchant needs as they arise.
- Gather feedback and insights from merchants regarding our products and services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
- Share insights with the team to enhance our merchant acquisition strategies.
**; Requirements**: - Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition.
- Prior experience in e-wallet or food delivery company is a plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-driven and self-motivated.
- Knowledge of the local brick and mortar market is a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.J
