**Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book Holder)** **(RM2,500-RM4,000)**

1. Checking of sub-contractors’ work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made thereunder are complied with;
2. To check, control and ensure daily operation at site is adhered to safety, health and environmental, legal and corporate requirements;
3. To anticipate, prevent and eliminate all unsafe conditions and practices at site that could lead to occupational injuries and illness;
4. Work closely with all department heads to provide input related to safety, health and environmental matters;
5. Involves in risk/hazard assessment at site;
6. Liaise with DOE, DOSH, BOMBA and local authority and ensure good working relationship is maintained;
7. Conduct weekly SH&E inspections around the work site to ensure the compliances with the SH&E plan, procedures and statutory regulations;
8. Conduct safety briefing/training to all new employees, contractors, vendors etc;
9. To coordinate safety program at project site;
10. To assist during audits, inspections and maintain all documentation and records;
11. Minimize health effects of employees by continuously monitoring exposure limits of noise, dust, chemicals, gases, etc;
12. Inspect and rectifying any unsafe conditions at the construction site;
13. Attend weekly safety site walk i.e. SMBWA etc.

14. Enforce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) implementation at work site.

15. To conduct tool-box meetings.

**Site Supervisor Job Description**

1. To supervise site operation and work progress.

2. To check all work to be done according to specifications and drawings.

3. To liaise with project team, contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers.

4. To attend site meetings, project meeting, prepare work progress reports and highlight problems or defects in construction works.

5. To initiate, plan, coordinate and supervise project’s construction works, sub-contractors and general workers.

6. Any other related duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements**

1. Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

2. Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under time constraints and meet deadlines.

4. Required skill(s): good interpersonal, coordinating skills., able to work independently., MS Office.

5. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

6. At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

7. Preferably in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Site Supervisor: 1 year (preferred)
