About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our dynamic team at NORTHEAST PRECISION SDN BHD'. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction site in Bukit Minyak Penang. Your primary focus will be to create and maintain a safe working environment for all site personnel.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards (JSA / HIRARC) or any report required from local authority
  • Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures and training programs to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Liaise with project managers, site engineers and subcontractors to coordinate safety activities
  • Maintain comprehensive safety documentation, including records of training, inspections and incident reports
  • Promote a positive safety culture through effective communication and employee engagement

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor in the construction industry
  • Proven track record of implementing successful safety programs and initiatives
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA and DOSH
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and prioritise effectively
  • Proficient in using safety-related software and tools, such as incident reporting systems and safety management platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Relevant safety certifications, such as IOSH or NEBOSH, would be an advantage
