About the role

WTK Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced M&E Supervisor to join our team on a contract basis in Bertam, Penang. As the M&E Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical and electrical operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing?

  • Coordinating and supervising the work of M&E subcontractor to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure all M&E installations comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Identifying and resolving any technical issues or challenges that arise during construction.
  • Monitoring the quality of workmanship and materials used on site
  • Liaising with project managers, clients, and consultant to provide progress updates and address any concerns.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation, permits, and certifications are obtained and maintained.
  • Implementing and enforcing strict health and safety protocols to protect workers and the public.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience as a M&E Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing & sanitary system, fire fighting system, lift system, medical gas system and electrical/elv installations.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to quickly address issues that arise on site
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Familiar with relevant health and safety regulations and able to ensure compliance on site
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
