Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator

  • Act as a lead or senior coordinator, overseeing both safety operations and cross-department coordination.
  • Accident investigation, near miss accident, prepare detailed reports with findings and Preventive and Corrective actions.
  • Manage legal compliance submission (e.g. DOSH, BOMBA, DOE, REM(Energy)).
  • Develop and implement and monitor safety related policy and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and carry out HIRARC.
  • Assist on insurance audit survey and support the implementation and maintenance of ISO management systems.
  • Conduct Safety Committee Meeting.
  • Conduct safety training for employees.
  • Prepare reports for management.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) for the facility.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct emergency drills
  • Coordinate with the relevant authorities and other stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and vendors to provide document requested, obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with applicable regulation.
  • Occasional travel to other sites or facilities is required.

Qualification

  • Diploma or Degree (qualification in a related field such as Occupational Safety and Health or facilities)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a safety-related role
  • Leadership and supervisory skills to guide administrative staff.
  • Safety certifications are a plus
  • Efficient, organised and have good interpersonal skills
