Web Programmer

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, manage, and maintain websites using WordPress and Laravel, ensuring performance, security, and responsiveness.
- Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.
- Translate UI/UX wireframes and design mockups into fully functional, interactive websites.
- Configure domains, hosting environments, DNS settings, and third-party API integrations.
- Assist internal teams with coding tasks, technical feasibility analysis, and project scoping.
- Collaborate with design, sales, and project management teams to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and documentation for all developed projects.
- Provide technical documentation and user manuals for client handovers.
- Proactively propose improvements in system architecture and user experience.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- **Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience with both WordPress and Laravel development (mandatory).**:

- Strong proficiency in:

- HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+)
- PHP and MySQL
- WordPress theme/plugin development
- Laravel framework architecture, Blade templating, and Eloquent ORM
- Domain/hosting setup, DNS, SSL, and deployment pipelines
- RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
- Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to manage tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Team player with a proactive mindset toward learning and improvement.

**Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills**
- Experience with WooCommerce, Shopify, or other eCommerce platforms.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and Google Analytics integration.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum development environments.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
