We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Junior Sous Chef to join our talented culinary team. The Junior Sous Chef will be responsible for leading the kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining food quality standards, and contributing to the creation of exceptional dishes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage daily kitchen operations and supervise the kitchen team.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards.
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development.
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to kitchen staff.
- Maintain proper food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ensure the kitchen is stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor portion control and waste management to maintain cost-effective operations.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role, with at least 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
