**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for the smooth and safe operation of plant equipment and to perform preventive maintenance task for machines regarding mechanical components.
- Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment.
- Installing new production equipment.
- Perform welding and workshop related work.
- Prepare sketch of mechanical drawings.
- Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.
- Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
- Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.
- Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
- Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulation e.g. SOP, Safety and Health.
- Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics and procedures and follow them with precision is extremely important.
- Record and document all work carried out on all equipment on both paper and Microsoft Excel.
- Work with the team and other department members to produce effective maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
- Implementation and Management of Safety, 5S & ISO
- Any other duties as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Min Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent.
- Preferable working experience in manufacturing environment
- Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to read engineering drawings.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Batu Gajah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
