**Responsibilities**:
As a Maintenance Technician you will be supporting and carrying out automated materials handling equipment servicing, in accordance with quality standards.
- Maintains, calibrates, and repairs on a variety of automated system, e.g AutoStore; Vectura; AMR; conveyor systems; etc
- Informs the maintenance supervisor or other responsible management of operating problems.
- Assists in determining new equipment, needed repairs, inventory and replacement parts necessary to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Inspects mechanical equipment installed by contractors to ensure safe and satisfactory functioning.
- Prepares required reports, daily logs, time sheets and work orders.
- Installs diagnoses, and repairs new and existing mechanical systems, and electrical systems.
- Performs preventive, predictive, normal, and emergency maintenance and inspections on all Facilities equipment.
- Assures proper safety techniques and equipment is used to promote and ensure a safe job site. Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
- Provides background information and determines necessary material, and time required for various jobs.
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease downtimes, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless equipment operation.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Diploma
- 3-5 years previous experience of working with automation / in an automated warehouse.
- Able or willing to work at heights.
- Able or willing to work on shifts.
- Health and Safety (ISO 45001) would also be desirable for this role.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient mathematical skills.
- Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
- Proficient use of computer systems / mathematics.
- Proficient analytical / decision making skills and problem solving skills.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Able to adapt to new and changing demands and situations.
- Able to share knowledge with others proactively and always show integrity.
