The Production Manager in the retail sector is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and production processes of retail goods. This role ensures that products are produced efficiently, on time, and within quality standards. The Production Manager will coordinate with various departments, manage production schedules, and optimize resources to achieve production goals and meet customer demands.

- Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the retail industry.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a **BONUS**.
- In-depth understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
- Familiarity with supply chain management and inventory control.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

**Your Day-to-Day**:

- Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and inventory teams to ensure the availability of materials.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
- Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and products.
- Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize the use of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency.
- Manage and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure that production facilities and equipment are well-maintained and operational.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety training for staff.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices to enhance production efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements in production technology.

- Provide strong leadership and direction to the production team.

- Proficiency in Mandarin is a bonus, aiding in communication with Mandarin-speaking suppliers or partners.
- Adapt to changes in production requirements and market demands.
- Be proactive in addressing production challenges and implementing innovative solutions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM5,500.00 per month
