JR44432 Physical Security Coordinator

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Assist the Country Security manager and the site security operations teams related crisis management; in fire and/or building related emergencies and procedures;
- Provide input to the site security lead and country lead on the work plan and activities related to planning, reporting and budget monitoring, security investigations, audits, and governance related works.
- The security coordinator will be the backup with the site security supervisor; to manage site security portfolio when the Country lead is away from the site.
- Assist in implementing and coordinating operational security operations;
- Support the security team in regard to emergency situations which could endanger the security of persons and assets, and submit a comprehensive security reports post-event;
- Support development and maintenance of assigned policies and procedures;
- Contribute to the development of local security and Global security policies and procedures, as required, such as Business Continuity, screening standards, warehouse security guidelines and IT information security;
- Support Security intelligence monitoring and understand the external security threats levels as well as their impact on Micron in the context of its activities, review the physical security risk assessment, identify and implement mitigating actions;
- Maintain monthly program of security tests and checks to identify further risks or weaknesses;
- Support raising security awareness across Micron assets in Malaysia by providing induction and training to enable Micron team members, delegates, contractors and visitors to carry out their activities in compliance with requirements of the physical security policies and procedures;
- Support procurement procedures for security related matters and contract management, agreeing and monitoring service level agreements and key performance indicators.

**Requirements**:

- ** Minimum** bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience** in Security management (preferred) or any filed.
- Knowledge in any Security systems, such as Lennel or access management systems.
- Creative and have passion in implementing innovative physical security solutions to tackle exciting business problems.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to work in a diverse team and challenging environment to achieve a common goal through effective collaboration and commitment.
- Required to provide operation support and rotational based on call support.
- Required to work in various areas throughout the building/site.
- Applicant who demonstrated good basic project management skill and had exposure to security related activities such as ISO audits and risk assessments.
- Experience with engaging government related agencies
- Physically fit and punctual
