**Job Purpose**:
***Responsibilities**:

- Identify customer payments from Bank Statement and perform receipting
- Allocate the customer payments to the respective invoices based on customers remittance advice
- Follow up with Credit and Collection team if remittance advice is not received from the customer
- Liaise with the General Accounting team to post the bad debts entry into AR subledger and clear those invoices from AR subledger
- Liaise with Credit and Collection team if there is any wrong allocation and perform the adjustment
- Support Month End Close by monitoring the Bank Clearing account and ensure completeness of AR Cash Application for all payments received
- Own the AR Cash Application process and participate in any process improvement projects
- Ensure proper and complete documentations are maintain for AR Cash Application process
- Support monthly, quarterly and ad hoc audits; maintain updated accurate records for AR Cash Application

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience is required.
- Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Able to use common Microsoft Office Applications
- Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
- Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
- Able to demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
- Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language.
- Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.
- Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
- Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to collaborate and build solid, effective working relationships with others.
- Able to quickly learn/adapt to new systems and technology.
