Drafter

**Job purpose**

Mechanical & Electrical drafter will be responsible for developing fabrication HVAC piping/plumbing drawings for coordination with other disciplines, using AutoCad. Fabrication scope will include development of detailed drawings in accordance with our standards, construction specifications, cad standards and industry wide detailing practices.

**Duties, responsibilities & kpi**

Responsibilities may include as below but **not limited** to the following:

- Work closely with the designers and field personnel to create drawings from written and verbal specifications.
- Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and maintain all revisions.
- Provide quality checking of drafted products and conformance with drawing production standards and project-specific cad requirements.
- Check the dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to the materials.
- Review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
- Confer with customer representatives to review schematics and answer questions pertaining to the installation of systems
- Collect, study, and combine rough sketches and initial design ideas from engineers into coherent technical drafts/drawings.
- Check that final technical drafts/drawings include all relevant information in an easy-to-read format, and that measurements and units are accurate based on initial design information from engineers.
- Able to produce coordination drawing/details/elevation/section drawing.
- Participate in as-built drawing production, visiting the site weekly/biweekly to capture changes and transform them into proper as-built drawings.
- Proper filling and update the drawing list from time to time.

**Qualifications & requirement**
- Bachelor's degree in any engineering with a mechanical & electrical background
- Knowledge in ARCHICAD BIM software will be an advantage/must be willing to pick up ARCHICAD BIM.
- Basic design knowledge in construction - Electrical or Mechanical.
- Able to read and understand structural and architectural drawings.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS project and MS office skills.
- Working knowledge of water, wastewater, and infrastructure design
- Fundamental knowledge of industry pipe standards
- Basic understanding of structural design and the interface between structural components and process mechanical equipment and piping
- Must possess a valid driver's license, own transport
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to receive direction and independently follow through with assigned tasks with mínimal & remote supervision by the superiors.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding team member, clients, contractors & suppliers. Trustworthy, with a strong work ethic founded upon integrity, commitment, and respect.
- Ability to work closely with team members, higher management, business partners and volunteers at all levels.

**Working Conditions**

Management Expectations:
Office: 50%

On-Work Sites: 50% (Site meeting with Field Staff, client and consultant)

Off-Site / External Activities: 5% Travelling (upon request by superior)

Locations : Rimbayu, Telok Panglima Garang

**Job Types**: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
