As the Brand Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting and executing brand marketing strategies that establish Moomoo as the market leader in the fintech industry in Malaysia. You’ll be at the forefront of building brand relevance and love, creating meaningful connections with customers, and ensuring our brand stands out in a competitive landscape.
In this role, you will conceptualise and spearhead local brand marketing campaigns, support global campaigns and initiatives, work closely with channels to build brand trust, drive visibility and engagement. You will collaborate closely with teams across Malaysia and globally, so you must be experienced and comfortable working across markets, managing multiple stakeholders to deliver results.
**Responsibilities**:
**Spearhead Integrated Brand Marketing Campaigns**:
- Own and lead multi-channel marketing initiatives across paid, owned, and earned media to drive brand visibility and business growth.
- Partner with Content, Performance Marketing, Creative, Business Development, PR teams, and agencies to deliver holistic impactful campaigns that cut through.
**Champion Brand Excellence Across Touchpoints**:
- Work closely with different channels globally to ensure that brand messaging, tone, imagery, experience is consistently represented throughout all touchpoints.
- Champion brand hygiene including the maintenance of reviews on Google, Trustpilot and the running of brand training programs.
- Monitor and manage brand reputation locally, including app reviews and community sentiment.
**Market Insights & Competitor Tracking**:
- Track competitor campaigns and activities across Malaysia’s financial services and fintech landscape.
- Analyse competitor strategies and market shifts to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the team.
- Share regular reports on competitor learnings to inform brand strategy and campaign optimisation.
- Stay on top of the latest branding and marketing trends, particularly in digital, social, and fintech spaces. Conduct regular updates and knowledge-sharing sessions to keep the team informed and ahead of market trends.
**Maximise Impact and ROI**:
- Partner with growth, content, and business teams to align marketing efforts with customer acquisition and retention goals.
- Track, measure, and optimise marketing effectiveness to ensure maximum impact and ROI.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
- A strong marketeer with a proven track record of building market-leading brands, developing and implementing integrated brand campaigns to drive business growth. Has a strong ability to project manage, lead cross-functional collaboration, manage budgets and timelines, synthesise stakeholder inputs, and communicate with clarity and structure.
- Passionate about brand building, taking pride in crafting impactful, memorable campaigns that drive strong brand recall and market resonance.
- Data-driven, using logic and data to inform messaging, channel mix, and initiatives while tracking key metrics for continuous improvement.
- Takes a customer-centric approach and understands shifting consumer needs, pain points, and opportunities within the local financial ecosystem.
- Proven track record in brand marketing, with at least 5-7 years' experience, driving impactful campaigns and building strong consumer brands.
- Strong campaign and project management skills - experienced in leading cross-functional teams, agencies, and multiple stakeholders.
