**3. Core Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of welding processes inspection methods
- Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods
- Expertise in reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and welding symbols.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining inspection records and documentation.
- Willingness to work in project sites or fabrication workshop (Kapar/Shah Alam).
- Commitment to upholding safety, quality, and environmental standards.

**4. Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct quality inspections at all stages of fabrication, including raw material verification, fit-up, welding, and final assembly.
- Review and verify engineering and AutoCAD drawings for compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure adherence to WPS, PQR, and Orica’s standards
- Verify material certifications and maintain traceability records.
- Perform dimensional checks and alignment inspections on fabricated components.
- Identify and document non-conformities and suggest corrective actions.
- Prepare inspection and quality reports for submission to the project and engineering teams.

**5. Knowledge and Skills**:

- Strong understanding of fabrication and welding standards (e.g., ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1).
- Hands-on experience with inspection documentation and QA/QC tools.
- Ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend improvements.

**6. Software Skills**:

- Microsoft Office

**7. Reporting and Collaboration**:

- Report directly to the Project & Engineering Departments.
- Collaborate with operation teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout fabrication.
- Communicate effectively with third-party inspectors and client representatives regarding quality-related matters.
- Contract - 1 year and can be extendable
