Intermediate & /or Project Designer

1) To be able to independently take on an approved set of SD documents, which includes conceptual space plan of key public areas, furniture plan of key public areas, key area RCP and key elevations and then move forward to develop a final set of production documents that meet or exceed PDI standards of quality.

2) Provide assistance in project design and development activities based on customer requirements.

3) Develop design documentations, technical specifications and other project related documentations as needed.

4) To take responsibility for the development of the design and the project with input from key personnel.

5) Attend project meetings to discuss issues and new design ideas.

6) Analyse design issues and suggest corrective actions.

7) Oversee change order, manage and document filing activities.

8) Work with PIC in developing project plan, meet budget and schedule.

9) Prepare design layouts, sketches and all other necessary drawings according to company design standards and customer requirements.

10) Stay abreast with latest developments in design technologies and techniques.

11) Address design related queries and concerns in a timely manner.

12) Work with design team in prioritizing, planning and executing several projects efficiently.

13) Propose effective design solutions to meet project goals.

14) Review and recommend improvements to existing designs.

15) Follow company policies and design standards.

16) Develop cost reduction initiatives while maintain quality and productivity.

17) To maintain a daily task list for assigned projects discussing time allotments and schedules and delegations.

18) To assist project team in ensuring delays are adequately documented.
