Business Development Executive at Puchong

**Job description**
The Business Executive plays a critical role in driving sales and expanding market presence by promoting eLearning software solutions and services. This includes engaging potential and existing clients, showcasing tools like Articulate 360, Vyond, and Powtoon, and developing tailored proposals to meet diverse client needs. In addition to collaborating with internal teams such as marketing and training, this role involves conducting product demonstrations, building strong client relationships, and providing consultative support to ensure client satisfaction and maximise product adoption.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**

**Sales Development and Client Acquisition**
- Identify and target potential clients interested in eLearning tools and solutions, including Articulate 360, Vyond, and Powtoon.
- Conduct product demonstrations, webinars, and on-site presentations to showcase the functionality and benefits of eLearning tools and services.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients, expand market presence, and increase product subscriptions.
- Prepare customised proposals and presentations tailored to client requirements.
- Track and report sales performance, client feedback, and market insights to management.
**Cross-Selling and Upselling**
- Engage with existing clients to identify opportunities to cross-sell additional software or services.
- Build tailored proposals to upsell additional seats or features to current subscribers.
**Relationship Management**
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Provide product education and ongoing support to ensure satisfaction and retention.
**Market Research and Reporting**
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead in the industry.
- Provide actionable feedback on client needs, product features, and service improvements to guide business strategies.
**Collaboration**
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, training, and operations, to align sales strategies and support pre-sales activities.
- Work with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for clients.

**Technical and Product Knowledge**:Familiarity with eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Vyond, Powtoon) and hybrid content creation solutions, enabling effective product promotion and client education.
**Presentation and Communication Skills**:Excellent skills in conducting live demonstrations, webinars, and client presentations, effectively conveying product value and benefits.
**Market Awareness**:In-depth understanding of trends and challenges in the eLearning and EdTech markets, with the ability to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.
**Goal-Oriented and Organised**:A results-driven mindset with a commitment to achieving sales targets, managing multiple client relationships, and maintaining organised workflows.
**QUALIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS**
- List of educations, professional qualification, experience and skills required to perform the primary responsibilities of the job. Equivalent combinations of education, professional qualification and experience should be noted._
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the eLearning or technology sector.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly in software or eLearning solutions, is highly advantageous.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers effectively.
- Familiarity with authoring tools (Articulate 360, Vyond, Powtoon) and content creation services is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM and project management tools, such as Zoho CRM, Miro Board, and ClickUp.
- Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
