Associate Iii- Quantity Surveyor

To plan, strategize, control and functionally carrying-out all aspects of management of contract matters and other functions in order to achieve the department and organization target.
- To carry out the contract in order for it to be executed within the cost and budget approved.
- To carry-out task in preparing the tender document for the tender exercise.
- To assist the Project Management team in managing the project on the contract matters.
- To attend the client-consultant, technical and site meeting which relates to the project handled.
- To carry-out site valuation together with the Consultant and Contractor for the purpose of recommending payment to be certified and finalizing the actual work done on site for the purpose of preparing the of final account.
- To process and prepare the contract payment certificate for the Consultants, Contractors and Suppliers using SAP/I-Claim/TAMS system.
- To undertake the task to process the variations orders with a complete documents and to be part of the negotiation team for a negotiation session with the Contractors for assessing the V.O works.
- To process, prepare and finalize of the contract account within stipulated time given in the contract.
- To attend to all Contractual matters with regard to the on-going contract managed.
- To close project’s account for the Old Contract.
- To work closely with Finance Department in order to assist department in monitoring financial/Budget utilization matters (report/Claim).
- To assist in making ordering for material (Pipe and fittings) from Supplier under PMD supervision.
- To carry-out task as instructed by the Superior from time to time
- To assist others Department/Section/Unit for processing the claim and advice for contract matters.
- Compliance with ISO Clause 5.3 Organisational roles, responsibilities and authority_
- Always adhere to Air Selangor Integrated Management System (AIMS) and HSE policy and involvement in implementing the Management System.
- Ensure the objective/KPI are established in line with the Company's contexts, strategic direction and purpose.

- Aware and understand the asset criticality in the operational activities and ensure all assets are maintained in good working conditions.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- 3 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying/ Contract Administration position
- Knowledge in the administration of contract process.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and Windows.
- Knowledge of Construction industries especially in water works.
- In-depth understanding of the construction process.
- Must be a team player, analytical, creative and possess high integrity.
- Ability to follow instruction well with all position levels within the group.
- Negotiation skill with contractor, consultant and supplier.
- Availability to work under pressure.

- Ability to use intelligent online System produce by Company (SAP, i-Claim, TAMS).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
