About the role

We are seeking experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at KM Infra Bina (m) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur . As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our Infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur .

What you'll be doing

  1. Liaise with site personnel and preparation of progress claim on time based on work completed
  2. Preparing and analyzing detailed cost estimates and budgets for infrastructure projects
  3. Monitoring and controlling project costs, identifying potential cost savings, and making recommendations to improve financial performance
  4. Liaise with site teams and clients on variation works and ensure proper documentation.
  5. Participate in tender preparation and submission.
  6. Assist in contract administration, progress reporting, and cost tracking.
  7. Support the management team with ad-hoc tasks or assignments when required.

What we're looking for

  1. Diploma/Bachelor Degree/ Quantity Surveying for Infrastructure or a related field
  2. At least 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Infrastructure industry
  3. Able to communicate in Mandarin, English & Malay to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
  4. Proficient in using quantity surveying software and other relevant tools
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  7. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in the construction sector
  8. Willing to work 6 days a week and travel to project sites when required
