Assistant Compliance Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- i. Assist to oversee and ensure operations and controls of the entire spectrum of the Company, including planning, reviewing the compliance and process improvement.
- ii. To consolidate and restructure the Team by promoting efficiency and agile thinking while balancing between business’s needs and regulatory requirements.
- iii. Assist to formulate, review and implement the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”), including enhancement to forms and documents.
- iv. To provide value added findings, recommendation, and areas for improvement to address internal control weaknesses will all identified issues are monitored and remediated timely.
- v. To ensure timely submission of compliance report to senior management and presentation to relevant committee within the Company.
- vi. To manage the launch of trainings in accordance with planned schedules.
- vii. Advise on matters relating to compliance with regulatory requirement.
- viii. Act as contact person with regulators and staff regarding compliance matter.
- ix. Review and monitory of AMLA related matters.
- x. Assist in AML / CFT matters.
- xi. Draft, review, approve and negotiate a broad range of contracts / documents (e.g. Internal policies, prospectuses, promotional materials, and submissions to the relevant authority / regulators.)
- xii. Assist in conduct research to ensure that the departments stay abreast with legal developments relating to the Company and integrate the information into company’s transactional practices.
- xiii. Support business through advice and recommendations from legal and compliance’s perspective.
- xiv. Involve in Business Continuity Management planning.
- xv. Review corporate documents from compliance perspective.
- xvi. Covering but not limited to, compliance to regulatory requirements of outsourcing, Anti Money Laundering, Anti Bribery and Corruption, Personal Data Protection Act, and Data Management and MIS Framework.
- For the avoidance of doubt, the description of the above tasks is not final and may be added, modified, or amended. You are required to carry out your duties and functions in relation to the business and structure of the Company from time to time.
- **Requirements**:
- Relevant experience in a fund management/ unit trusts company is advantageous.
- Relevant legal or compliance background - banking, financial service, anti-money laundering, e-commerce, content review will be great.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to effectively work with colleagues as well as the ability to present at all levels of seniority.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with a solutions orientated mindset.
