**Job Summary**:

- The HSE Officer for offshore operations is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards in all offshore activities. This role involves implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, providing safety training, and investigating incidents to promote a safe working environment for all personnel involved in offshore operations.

**Minimum Qualifications & Skills**:

- Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in HSE roles in offshore oil and gas operations.
- Valid competency BOSIET, OGSP, WAH and other related competency
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards relevant to offshore operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and influence others to prioritize safety.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HSE management systems.
- Physical fitness and willingness to work in offshore environments for extended periods.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations, standards, and company policies in offshore operations.

2. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments for offshore activities, identify potential hazards, and develop mitigation measures to minimize risks to personnel and the environment.

3. Inspections and Audits: Perform regular inspections and audits of offshore facilities, equipment, and processes to identify safety and environmental hazards and ensure compliance with standards.

4. Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and environmental spills to determine root causes and develop corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

5. Safety Training: Develop and deliver safety training programs for offshore personnel, including emergency response procedures, hazard identification, and safety protocols.

6. Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency response activities, including drills and exercises, to ensure readiness to respond to emergencies such as fires, oil spills, or medical emergencies.

7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident investigations, training activities, and regulatory compliance reports. Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.

8. Communication: Communicate effectively with offshore personnel, management, regulatory agencies, and contractors to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
