**As a Guru you will be accountable for**:

- Ensuring the Group’s adherence to SOX Act requirements by evaluating and monitoring internal controls over financial reporting.
- Developing, updating, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of internal controls, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
- Conducting risk assessments to identify areas of potential financial reporting risks and recommending appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.
- Coordinating with internal and external auditors to facilitate SOX audits, including providing necessary documentation, answering queries, and addressing audit findings.
- Performing regular testing of internal controls to evaluate their effectiveness and efficiency and identifying areas for improvement.
- Identifying and recommending improvements to internal controls and financial processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Preparing and presenting reports on SOX compliance status, control deficiencies, and remediation plans to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Staying updated on changes in SOX regulations and industry best practices to ensure the company remains compliant with current requirements.

**We are looking for someone who**:

- Has proven experience in SOX compliance, internal controls, or auditing roles, with a solid understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and internal control frameworks.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and implement effective controls.
- Shows a high level of attention to detail, with the ability to document processes accurately and identify control deficiencies.
- Is proficient in using relevant software and tools for auditing, documentation, and reporting.
