Drafter - Instrument & Control

Uses CAD software to create detailed drawings that include dimensions, procedures, and required materials.
- Drafts plans and detailed drawings for electrical and instrumentation working from sketches or notes.
- Coordinates data collection and incorporates such information into drawings, maps, and schematics, while consulting with engineers, surveyors, and other workers involved to prepare and present drawings.
- Performs complex drafting and designing assignments with little to no supervision and reviews drawings for accuracy and completeness. Also maintains all revisions of project drawings.
- Creates drawings and models from verbal and written specifications that are obtained from the engineers. Also examines and checks engineering drawings to comply with cited specifications.
- Helps to ensure that project construction conforms to design specifications and applicable codes. Works with engineers regarding drafting standards, model design and accuracy, and design documentation.
- Works closely with engineers and other designers/drafters to ensure the maintenance of coordination design efforts
- Completes project responsibilities within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinates work with other disciplines such as mechanical, piping, civil, process and process safety.

**Requirement**
- Preferred: Diploma in Discipline Engineering or equivalent field with Drafting background.
- Fresh grad or 1-3 years experience in executing engineering work in Oil & Gas Industry.
- Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Familiarity with 3D modelling tools.
- Fresh graduates in Engineering or internship experience in Drafting are encouraged to apply.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
