Assist in planning and arranging international shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare shipping and customs documents in compliance with regulations.
- Work closely with freight partners, forwarding agents, and internal teams to coordinate logistics activities.
- Support the Shipping Manager with sea freight import/export operations, including booking shipments, trucking, and delivery coordination.
- Monitor and update container movement planning to optimize logistics flow.
- Handle and maintain shipping documents (e.g., K1, K2) for import and export clearance.
- Verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and condition.
- Assist in container loading planning by calculating product fit (cartons/pallets) for 20ft and 40ft containers.
- Track shipment status, resolve delays, and communicate updates to relevant teams.
- Liaise with shipping lines, forwarding agents, customers, and authorities for smooth clearance.
- Maintain organized shipping and inventory records using Excel and inventory management systems.
- Support periodic stock counts and audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency.
