Maintenance Planner

We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to ensure the factory’s maintenance system is optimally planned, executed and its effectiveness measured in order to ensure asset reliability and deliver plant performance.

**A day in the life of...**:
**Maintenance Planning**
- Develop and manage the yearly maintenance plan for the site as defined by the plant engineers
- Ensure yearly revisions and improvements of maintenance tasks
- Develop preventive maintenance for all lines
- Manage the issuance, feedback and updating of maintenance task
- Track improvements and actions arising from preventive maintenance plan
- Implementation, tracking and management of corrective, improvement work orders
- Secure equipment availability on a weekly cycle with production to allow for effective completion of preventive maintenance plan. Negotiating with production planning.
- Develop a resource pool of contract skilled labor to assist the engineering executive in their maintenance activity

**Asset/Spares Master data custodian**
- Manage, housekeep and ensure integrity of asset and equipment master data;
- 1. Setup and manage database on plant register
- 2. Conduct yearly asset verification exercise
- 3. Management of surplus equipment
- Drive the inventory turns ratio and service level improvements of the store.
- Responsible for registration of spares and development of spares - equipment - work order links
- Introduce and police the best practices for stores management.

**CDM ‘Administrator’**
- Establish and manage the yearly, monthly, weekly maintenance plans to ensure essential maintenance is completed within a reasonable time.
- Monitor plant/equipment to ensure optimal operation and reduction of planned/unplanned downtime.
- Optimize predictive maintenance technologies (condition monitoring and inspections) to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Utilize planned downtime for scheduled and condition-based maintenance with work orders.
- Develop and implement improvements to minimize downtime for line change and cleaning.
- Liaise with production, quality management on a daily basis to resolve technical and/or operational issues. (stoppages analysis from downtime reporting system).
- Establish with production, shutdown and start-up work programs to minimize the risks to the product, people and production losses.

**Maintenance KPI Administration**
- Administer budget development,
- Monthly expenditure tracking and analysis,
- Validation and integrity of maintenance KPI

**Safety, Health & Environment**
- Ensure that material and services planning are accurate and effective.
- Schedule and maintain Maintenance Plans and Tasks and Resources for existing and new assets, maintain Asset Master Data
- Scheduled Work Order and Notification Management and Labor Hour allocation
- Collaborate with maintenance engineer, storekeeper to ensure spare parts availability
- Monitor maintenance conformity and prepare Maintenance Reports
- Analyze and review the use of Work Order Type and Maintenance Activity Type in AMM

- Minimum 3 years experience in a technical field, preferably in food manufacturing or consumer goods industry.

- In-depth knowledge of food processing equipment maintenance (maintenance techniques and maintenance execution).
- Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety and hygienic engineering (OSH&R).
- General understanding of financial analysis, budget reports and relevant business drivers.
